Your Passwords Never Leave Your Device
All generation and strength-checking on this site happens locally in your web browser using JavaScript and the Web Crypto API. Passwords, passphrases, PINs, and anything you type into the strength checker are never sent to, processed by, or stored on our servers. There is no server-side generation, no logging of generated values, and no way for us to see them.
Information We Collect
We do not require accounts and do not collect names, email addresses, or any personal information, except when you voluntarily email us. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs. We use this only in aggregate to understand site usage and keep the site secure.
Advertising and Cookies
We display advertising served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense to keep the site free. These networks may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies is described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads, and you can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com. Advertising scripts have no access to the values generated on the page.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and understand which tools are most useful. Analytics data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally.

This site is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
